Level One Courses
A football Level One coaching course will commence in St. Anne's GAA club, Bohernabreena on November 5th. This course is run by Dublin County Board and builds on the Foundation Level qualification. The course is run on two nights per week (3 hours per night) for five weeks and covers topics such as fitness, tactics, psychology & motivation, match analysis etc. In order to attain the Level one qualification, you must attend 9 of the 10 sessions and complete a log book of your work with your own team. This course is targetted at coaches from U13 to adult, and it is recommended that every club team from U14 upwards should have at least one coach with a Level One qualification.
There are only 6 places left on the programme in St. Ann's. As the venue is very close, we recommend grabbing a place while they are available. Please feel free to forward this to other club or school coaches who may be interested in advancing their coaching expertise.
Booking can be done via the Dublin GAA Coaching website http://www.dublingaagamesdevelopment.ie/ or Brian O'Regan or Paul McLoughlin will facilitate you if you don't have web access.
There will be a hurling/camogie level one course in Kilmacud Crokes in the New Year, and details of this will be forwarded when registration is opened.
