Ballycullen Dressing Rooms get green light
Dressing rooms move a step closer to delivery at Knocklyon Park
The Executive Committee is pleased to report that South Dublin County Council has granted full planning permission for the construction of Dressing Rooms at Knocklyon Park, Ballycullen.
The original application was lodged in 2002 but a number of technical issues had to be resolved before permission could be granted. The club has had outline planning permission on the site for some years.
Club Chairman Ronan Hore said "the decision of South Dublin County Council is very welcome news and we would like to thank the officials and public representatives for their support. The provision of dressing rooms at Ballycullen will address a very immediate need and the facility will be tremendous asset for our teams and visiting teams alike. I would also like to thank the residents of Woodstown for their understanding over the past number of years. The new facility will greatly enhance the community service that the club provides. I would also like to thank the Development Committee - present and past for progressing this project."
The process of implementation of this development project will commence shortly.
