Bumper Bank Holiday on the way for Juveniles
Next weekend is a huge weekend for the boys' juvenile section in the club.
Saturday sees the club hosting the Féile Peil na nÓg.
The Under 14 A Team ( Mentors Derek Ward, Vinny Carney, Noel Basquel and Liam Deane) is drawn at home in a qualifying group with Thomas Davis, Na Fianna and St Vincents . The first game is at 10.45am.
The Under 14 B ( Mentors Paul Manning, Brendan Gillespie and Kevin Walsh) is away in Broomfield ( St Sylvesters).
The Under 14 C ( Mentors: Martin Callan and Wally Durkin) is away in Balheery.
As there are no juvenile fixtures for Sat please text all your players and encourage them to come along with their club colours to support our teams
Thanks to the great fundraising done by parents each of the players received their Féile gear on Sunday night.
Bank Holiday Monday sees the club hosting the Cian Durkin tournament. This year's participants are Dicksboro (Kilkenny), Kilnadeema-Leitrim (Galway), Mallow (Cork), Cuala (Dublin) and O'Donovan Rossa (Belfast) and Ballyboden St Endas. First match at 11.30. Final at 4pm. Again we would hope that all juvenile players will come along to support the club team.
We would greatly appreciate it if juvenile mentors could help out next weekend with stewarding and various other tasks over the weekend. Please let me know if you can help us out.
A Club our size should have hundreds of supporters coming along to cheer on our teams
On behalf of the boys' juvenile section may I warmly congratulate the Under 14 girls football team on winning the Dublin Féile Final last weekend. B.est of luck in the All-ireland finals in Derry on the first weekend in July.
