8 teams competed in the recent international tournament at the Rockland GAA club grounds in Up-state New York. 2 teams of all-American girls from Baltimore, 2 teams from Toronto, 2 teams from Boston, a team from New York, and the Belgium team (current European champions).  After a great day of competitive camogie Belgium (managed by "Celebrity Bainisteoir" John Kirwan) won the tournament having been pushed all the way by the Boston A team in the final (final score 4.5 to 1.7).

The Belgium team  (and where they are originally from):
Captain - Laura Whiskerd (Wales)
Niamh Kennedy (formerly St. Lachtains, Freshford, Co. Kilkenny)
Elaine Kennedy (Fethard, Tipperary)
Christine O'Gorman (Shannon, Co. Clare)
Laura Schneebacher (New Jersey, USA)
Irene Kirwan (formerly Ballyboden St. Endas, Dublin)
Casey Troy (Washington DC)
Katy Hambrook (Toronto, Canada)

Then on Sunday a number of the players congregated again in Gaelic Park to play an exhibition game before the men's county football final between Leitrim and Tyrone.
