The Adult Club championships kicks into gear this week with our hurling and ladies football teams starting their championship campaigns. A host of games are down for decison with the two standout games on Wednesday being our senior A hurlers and ladies footballers starting their defence of their County titles. Our hurlers begin their quest for 5 in a row championships against Cuala in Páirc Uí Murchú at 7.15pm. With plenty of stars from Dublins recent National League success on view with both teams, it promises to be a high quality encounter. Best of luck to the team and management. This year , team manager Liam Hogan and outgoing selector, John Kirwan , are joined on the sideline by Brian Kelleher and Brian O' Regan.
Our Senior A Ladies footballers are seeking an unprecedented 11th title in 12 seasons and play Na Fianna in Sancta Maria at 7.30pm. With a number of players missing from last years title winning team and the team in transition with an infusion of young players, it is going to be a difficult battle against Na Fianna . Last year Na Fianna were the teams toughest opponents in Dublin, with Boden needing a replay at semi final stage to progress. Best of luck to the team , new manager, Ryan Casey, and team selectors, Finnian Hyland and John O'Toole.
Come out and support our teams this week.
