Chicks with Sticks

The Camogie Association is gearing up for its centenary celebrations next year with a vigorous marketing campaign to make the game more appealing to a wider audience.
In the current (July/August) edition of Fairplay, a magazine devoted to women in sport (www.fairplay.ie), Therese O"Callaghan a former Cork camogie player has written a feature story on plans to make "Chicks with Sticks" a household name over the next few years.
The front cover features three St. Vincents players - Eimear Brannigan, Aoife Cullen and Sonya Byrne.
