Congratulations to the Coláiste Éanna senior hurling team who overcame a very strong Heywood team in last Friday's All Ireland B Colleges quarter final by a scoreline of 3-11 to 2-12. The team featured many BBSE players.

An early John Breen goal in the second half gave Éanna a 4 point lead but Heywood fought back to draw level with 5 minutes to go. Victory was secured with late points by Finnian Mcdonagh and Niall Ryan.

Another great team performance was led by captain Cillian Moffat and a great second half performance by Seán O'Shea in the half back line. Naoise Maguire and Ronan Cleary were again dominant in mid-field and Niall Ryan and Finnian McDonagh were excellent in attack.

The team now face Munster champions Dungarvan CBS in the All Ireland semi-final which takes place on Saturday 13th March in Templemore at 2.00pm.
