Announcement from Eircom:

Eircom will announce on Monday 11th July, that we are looking to hire 50 Apprentices for the Group Technology Apprentice programme.
This exciting opportunity offers an Advanced Certificate (FETAC Level 6) obtained over a two year programme, where individuals will receive on-the-job learning, one-to-one mentoring and formal classroom training. This programme will work towards developing the skills required to install, maintain and repair our digital networks, telephone exchanges, cables and other equipment.
On successful completion of the two year apprenticeship programme applicants will be given the opportunity to continue to work and help shape the future of eircom.

Who can apply?

If you have completed your Leaving Certificate then you are eligible to apply. Applicants must also have a high aptitude and a customer orientated attitude which will be tested through interviews and in practice. A driver’s license or the capacity to obtain one is also required.
