Féile na nGael Camogie 2008
Under 14 Dublin Féile na nGael Semi Finalists 2008

Many thanks to Tom Sexton, Bill Doyle, Angela Ryan, Mona O'Sullivan, Robert Lambert and Eamonn McDonagh for their attendance throughout the whole day, Sinead McNeela, Ciara Lucey, Clarinda Noonan, Eibhlin McNamara, Sheila O'Shea and all the parents.
The under 14 camogie team acquited themselves admirably in the Féile in Lucan Sarsfields beating Kilmacud Crokes by 1 - 2 to 1 - 1; Naomh Fionnbarra 4 - 2 to 0 - 2 to reach the semi finals. The team lost to St. Oliver Plunketts in the round robin phase before going down to a fine Lucan Sarsfields team in the semi final.
The entire squad was superb

- Ciara Darker - great game against Naomh Fionnbarra
- Dervla Denby - made many telling clearances
- Aly Doyle - scored the point of the tournament against Lucan Sarsfields
- Lauren Falconer - had a storming game at midfield against Naomh Fionnbarra
- Isobel Flood - played with great heart
- Sarah Gallen - outstanding in several positions
- Shona Giles - deserved winner of Players Award for the tournament

- Orlaith Keane - cracking goal against Crokes
- Ciara Kennedy - tough and tidy at corner-back
- Ciara Lambert - put her heart and soul into every game
- Lena McDonagh - drove a clearance 60m from full back
- Maria McGrath - scored 4 - 2 against Naomh Fionnbarra - what more could one say
- Kate Lyons - as committed as ever
- Sarah O'Reilly - put Fionnbarra's under fierce pressure
- Cliodhna O'Sullivan - skill and speed to go with it
- Kiva Pachett - put in numerous hooks and blocks
- Megan Phillips - a hardworking performance
- Amy Ryan - the captain led from the front
- Fiona Ryan - made many saves including a great stop and kill against Plunketts
- Kate Sexton - fought tigerishly for every ball
- Carla Slane - gave her all for the team
- Anna Walsh - superb striking all day
- Shauna Whelan - huge improvement and a great hook against Crokes
The team has made great strides and with the same application as shown this week-end can go on from here to bigger and better things.
