Senior/Inter Championship deferred for one week

[ Monday, 5th April 2010 ]
Following on from Dublin's victory in today's Leinster Under 21 final and their qualification for the All Ireland semi-final v. Roscommon on April 17th next it has become necessary to postpone the first rounds of the Senior and Intermediate Football championships for one week. Junior Championships will proceed as planned.

Senior and Intermediate championship fixtures are now re-schedule for the same day and time on week-ending April 25th. This is however subject to the National league Final should Dublin qualify. In that case games will be played that week but some may be brought forward to an earlier day. A decision will be made, if necessary, on Monday week April 12th.

AFL 1 to 4 fixtures will now be played on Friday April 16th as per the attachment. Clubs are reminded that CCC will not grant postponemnts but will allow re-scheduling for anytime from now til that date once it does not interfere with any other  fixture.

All Clubs should note that AFL games must be played without players on County duty and will not be postponed for players tied up with the Under 21 panel.
