Bíonn blas ar an mbeagán, ach ní hé sin a tharla nuair a thug Baile Buadáin Naomh Éanna aghaidh ar Thomás Dáibhís.  Thirty players from Ballyboden St. Endas took part in the first under 10/11 camogie tournament held in Thomas Davis on Sunday.  These girls were a combination of both under ten camogie teams.  Great skill and determination was on display with fine efforts and great team play.  The highlight of the day was the fantastic cheering from the sideline, from parents, players and coaches.  The atmosphere was electric and could contest a championship final in Parnell Park any day.  I’m sure there will be even more chants invented before the year is out! reports Coach Fiona ní Shúilleabháin.

The first half of the panel took on Ballinteer St. Johns in the first match.  In the second group match the second half of the panel played against St. Annes.  A selection from the entire panel contested the semi-final against St. Marks, and the final against Crumlin.

The emphasis for Ballyboden St. Endas was on participation and the improvement of skills and this was clearly evident in today’s display.  Every girl got to play and every girl improved in one aspect of their play at least.

Great sportsmanship was also on display in Thomas Davis, when four girls from Ballyboden played with St. Annes on the day and whole-hearted thanks goes out to them.
