Ballyboden St Endas U11A Gaelic Football Cup Final winners

Ballyboden St. Endas U11a team 1 (managed by Martin Murphy, Brian Stafford, Martin Durkan) and Ballyboden St. Endas U11a team 2 (managed by Jim Dalton, Niall Kelly, assisted by Jimmy Mc Donnell , Tony Walshe, Eoin Sweeney, Paddy Barton) both participated in the U11 A Cup Final(two team group) at Ballyfermot De La Salle on May 3rd.

The opposition Thomas Davis were quitely confident on the day. Both Ballyboden teams performed with passion and skill throughout. Team 1 was narrowly beaten, however Team 2 saved the day for Ballyboden on a scoreline of Ballyboden 9-10 Thomas Davis 3-9.

With the aggregate score of the two teams crucial , Ballyboden were convincing winners and duly celebrated with the Cup and medals.

On the day, Eoin Kelly gave a man of the match winning performance and was supported by team members; S.Mc Grath, J. Mc Donnell, R. O' Connell, C. Barton, D. Walsh, C. Dalton, A. Sweeney, P. Kelly, C.O'Dea , J Ryder, K. Flaherty, K. Cronin, M. Delaney , S. Durkan, C. Mc Partland and A. Mellett

Team 1 squad members included; N. Hester, H. Keller, C. Kennedy, R. Knight , B. Mc Garry, E. Monaghan, l. Murphy, J. Murphy, D. O' Neill, L. Stafford, O. Tobin , N. Benson and R.Mc Grath (unavailable) .

A special thanks goes to Donal Monahan for his relentless effort and coordination of all of the U11 gaelic football teams. To all the parents, a big thank you for your encouragement and support. Well done to all.
