U12 team in Rathnure with mentors John Ryan, Michael Garry and Ciarán Maguire (on camera duty!)

Following on from their successful Skills Development day in Gormanston College a couple of weeks ago, the U12 Hurlers continued their travels at the weekend with a trip to play St. Anne"s of Rathnure. 

26 players made the trip and had a tight game against a St. Annes" side featuring Jack Guiney, son of Wexford star Dave Guiney and Brian Maher, son of former Ballyboden player, Brendan. 

Players were fed thanks to Rathnure"s great hospitality and then headed into Wexford Park to see a formidable Tipperary team take Wexford apart. 

Many thanks to the parents who drove players to Wexford and especially to our Rathnure hosts who treated us so well.  After this preparation, we"re all set for the start of the league next weekend - bring "em on!
